The DoorBird and BirdGuard Intercoms are a German-made Intercom that connect straight to your phones app. Reducing to need of having a stationary door station and allowing you to be able to answer the Door Phone from anyway.
The DoorBird series of Intercoms have many benefits over conventional Door Phones. They have the ability to connect over POE, WiFi or Ethernet and PSU.
Each Doorbird unit has a potential free external connection for controlling door strikes or motors. And these connections can be activated via the app. So not only will you never miss a visitor, you don't have to let them stand out in the cold either.
The DoorBird Intercoms also have connections for Door Chimes and Door Openers
The D10x series is a Surface Mount Intercom in a Polycarbonate casing. The D20x series are Flush mount version with either Stainless Steel or Bronze Faceplate . The D20x series also have backlit name tags. All versions have HD IR for Night Vision and a Blue Led light around the Call Button. All Doorbirds are Weather Resistant to Rain, Snow, Heat and Frost.

The BirdGuard
The BirdGuard is the perfect companion to the DoorBird, not to say it can't be used on its own. The Birdguard has the same features as the DoorBird but without the Bell Press. But it does have an inbuilt siren and Dog Bark feature. It also allows for an external amplified siren to be connected to the BirdGuard to give it some extra vocals. The Birdguard makes a perfect addition for Garages. Utilise the inbuilt dry contact relay to operate your Garage Door. You now have a Smart Garage Door, and can check the camera to see if it is open at any time via the app. Smart.
